Job summary

Network Recruitment is seeking a capable data/ops specialist to strengthen our internal teams in Johannesburg. You will optimize Google Workspace usage, troubleshoot AI-enabled queries, and help design smart internal tools to streamline operations.

You will manage data integrity, build dashboards with Power BI, and deliver real-time insights for leadership using advanced analytics. A degree in CS/IS and strong Excel/Sheets skills are preferred, with a proactive, communicative approach to solving

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Excel & Google Sheets expertise with formulas and Pivot Tables.
• Self-motivation to identify and solve problems proactively.
• Ability to explain technical/AI-driven solutions to non-technical colleagues.
• Basic SQL querying skills.
• Power BI / DAX experience for dashboards.
• Exposure to Looker Studio or Tableau.
• Experience scripting or AI automation in workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Google Workspace Mastery: Provide internal support for Google Apps (Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.) and optimize how our teams use them.
• AIâEnhanced Problem Solving: Act as the first point of contact for tech queries, leveraging automation and AI tools to troubleshoot with a \"canâdo\" attitude.
• Intelligent Tool Building: Assist in developing internal tools, automated workflows, and AIâdriven solutions that make operations smarter.
• Data Integrity & Insights: Manage and report on data, ensuring leadership has accurate, realâtime insights powered by advanced analytics.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excel & Google Sheets Expertise: Comfortable with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and ideally Google Sheets ArrayFormula.
• SelfâMotivation: You dont wait to be told-you see a problem and design a solution.
