Job summary

Cbre Excellerate is seeking an AI Automation Engineer in Gauteng, South Africa, to build intelligent automations and collaborate with multiple departments. You will develop and deploy automation agents on an internal AI platform, and maintain integrations with ERP, CRM, and knowledge systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
0–2 years in software development, automation, or data engineering.
Academic projects or internships acceptable.
Experience with Python programming.
Exposure to at least one AI/LLM framework, API, or technology.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with departments to understand and document business processes.
Identify opportunities where AI and automation can reduce manual effort and streamline workflows.
Develop, test, and deploy automation agents and workflows on an internal AI platform.
Assist in development and maintenance of AI platform components, including integrations and retrieval services.
Build and maintain integrations with ERP, CRM, ticketing, and knowledge management systems.
Monitor platform performance, usage, and health, resolving routine issues.
Create and maintain test cases and evaluation frameworks for quality and reliability.
Apply data privacy, security, governance, and access control standards.
