Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst Specialist to translate business needs into technical specs in an agile setting. You will work with stakeholders and teams to drive requirements, architecture, and documentation for software solutions.

The ideal candidate has a decade of analysis experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with financial services projects, Oracle/SAP is a plus. This role supports transformation initiatives and BA excellence within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or IT related field.
• 10 years of working experience in analysis roles.
• 5 years data mining and/or software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• 5 years experience in the financial services industry preferred.
• Experience with project management and delivery of software projects.
• Experience with Oracle and/or SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop collaborative relationships across cultures and politics.
• Analyze and define business requirements; review potential solutions for QA.
• Contribute to transformation and strategy initiatives.
• Document solutions using Word, Visio, HTML, XML, and other formats.
• Define system architecture and maintain documentation.
• Prepare task lists, WBS, budgets, and risks.
• Obtain buy-in for new/enhanced processes.
• Promote the BA Centre of Excellence.
