Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Business Analyst with a minimum of 3 years of experience in gathering requirements, analyzing user stories, conducting gap analyses, and preparing for business change. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and leadership skills. As a Lead Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, driving organizational change, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the requirements gathering process by collaborating with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements and user stories.
  2. Conduct comprehensive gap analyses to identify discrepancies between current and desired states, and propose effective solutions to address business needs.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business process flows, use cases, data models, and other relevant artifacts.
  5. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
  6. Collaborate with project managers, developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and project deliverables.
  7. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements elicitation sessions to drive consensus and resolve conflicts.
  8. Participate in the evaluation and selection of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  9. Proactively identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  10. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to business analysis and project management.

Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on gathering requirements, conducting gap analyses, and facilitating business change.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and solutions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  5. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to mentor junior team members and lead cross-functional project teams.
  6. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
  7. Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirement elicitation.
  8. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
  9. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
