Job summary

Zscaler in South Africa is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive net-new logos and upsell opportunities in a hybrid setup. You will join a global cloud security team focused on delivering a secure, cloud-enabled future.

You will build business cases at all levels, partner with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Value Consulting and Transformation teams, and generate a strong pipeline with channel partners to fuel growth in your territory.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and how to position AI-driven solutions.
• At least 5 years of sales experience selling to commercial accounts with a revenue quota.
• History of consistent net-new logo achievements and channel partnership leverage.
• Willingness to be coached and follow a proven sales process.
• Proven ability to lead 'team selling' using internal resources, partners, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of East & West Africa + SADC countries (excluding South Africa) focused on net new logos and upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate expertise in building business cases that show value and differentiation at all levels of customer organizations.
• Partner effectively with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Value Consulting, and Transformation teams throughout your sales cycles.
• Drive pipeline generation using modern techniques, joint field marketing initiatives, and top-tier channel partners including VARs, SIs, and SPs.
• Execute a disciplined sales process from start to finish with accountability for territory growth.
