The Western Cape Mobility Department, Western Cape Government (WCG) have an exciting employment opportunity for a suitable, qualified and competent individual to provide administrative support services to the Sub-Directorate Land Transport Development. The successful incumbent must be able to work under pressure willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines.
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher). A minimum of 1 year relevant administrative support experience.

Knowledge of and working experience: legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices relevant to the line functions; manage financial processes in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act, 1999, National Treasury Regulations, Provincial Treasury Instructions and other applicable financial policies, prescripts, directives and collective agreements; manage transport-related regulatory, legislative, policy and framework requirements; use information systems that support the management of knowledge and information relating to the line function; manage projects; implement operational management practices; manage procurement and tendering processes; use relevant software packages and computer programmes; perform general office administration and database management; Skills: numeracy and literacy functions; use computer systems effectively; Other: communicate effectively in the required language; manage projects; conduct data analysis; perform accounting, finance and audit functions; communicate effectively; conduct basic research.
R 338 106- R 398 277 per annum (Salary level 7)
