Job Purpose The Western Cape Mobility Department, Western Cape Government (WCG) have an exciting employment opportunity for a suitable qualified and competent individual to administer applications for operating licenses. The successful incumbent must be able to work under pressure, willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines.
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification); A minimum of 1-year administrative support experience

Key Performance Areas Render support with the processing of Operating License Applications; Perform Communication duties; Coordinate attendance of Committee hearings; Render effective utilisation of the PTRS System;Render supervisory functions. .
Knowledge and understanding of the following: National Land Transport Act (Act No.5 of 2009); applications for operating licenses.; preparation of cases for the cancellation of operating licenses; how to notify operators of renewals; publication of operating license applications in the Government gazette; administration and database management; general support systems; Record Management/Administration; Knowledge of administrative procedures and processes.

Remuneration R 338 106- R 398 277 per annum (Salary level 7).
