The Western Cape Mobility Department, Western Cape Government, has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to administer applications for operating licenses. The successful incumbent must be able to work under pressure, willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines.
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher qualification); A minimum of 1 year administrative support experience.

Render support with the processing of operating license applications; Perform communication duties; Coordinate attendance of committee hearings; Render effective utilisation of the PTRS System; Render supervisory functions.
Knowledge in the following: National Land Transport Act (Act No. 5 of 2009); processing applications for operating licences; preparing cases for the cancellation of operating licences; notifying operators of operating licence renewals; publishing operating licence applications in the Government Gazette; general office administration and database management; general support systems; information and records management/administration; administrative procedures and processes; Skills: numeracy; literacy; computer literacy; language proficiency; project management; accounting, finance and audit; economic, financial and statistical analysis; legal administration; Other: reporting; problem-solving; communication; planning; organising; research; ability to work under pressure; willingness to work irregular hours and meet tight deadlines.
