About the Role

Our client, a well-established technology services company based in Randburg, Gauteng , is looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead their AR team. This role is vital for managing the company's revenue cycle, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate customer account records. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of Accounts Receivable clerks.
• Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, from invoicing to cash application.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve collection rates and reduce aging receivables.
• Monitor customer credit limits and manage credit risk.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing disputes.
• Prepare aging reports and provide analysis to management on collection status.
• Ensure accurate and timely cash application to customer accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers regarding their accounts.
• Develop and enforce AR policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end closing and provide relevant AR reports.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven experience in debt collection and credit management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Pastel) and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of AR principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
