Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting an Accounts Receivable Supervisor for an established technology services company based in Randburg, Gauteng. This office-based role leads the AR team to ensure accurate invoicing, timely cash collection and robust customer records.

You will supervise clerks, optimize processes, monitor aging, and support month-end close. Ideal candidates hold a national diploma or degree in accounting and have 4+ years AR experience, including leadership.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years in Accounts Receivable with 1–2 years in supervision.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Pastel and MS Excel; AR fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of AR clerks.
• Oversee invoicing through cash application.
• Develop strategies to improve collection rates.
• Monitor customer credit limits and manage credit risk.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve disputes.
• Prepare aging reports and analyze collections.
• Ensure accurate, timely cash posting to ledgers.
• Maintain strong customer relationships on accounts.
• Assist with month-end close and AR reporting.
