Job summary

Jobs 4 All in Mthatha is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a 4-star property with 300+ rooms. You will coordinate Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance and Guest Services to deliver service that meets the brand standards and exceeds guest expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting and revenue-management skills, plus a proven track record in delivering guest satisfaction and maintaining high operational standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in senior hotel operations management.
• Experience as Hotel Manager or General Manager is preferred.
• Experience in a 4-star hotel environment is essential.
• Experience managing 200+ rooms; 300+ rooms advantageous.
• Strong financial, budgeting and cost-control experience.
• Proficient in using hotel/PMS systems.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance and Guest Services.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by meeting standards and taking corrective actions.
• Lead and develop departmental managers and staff; drive a performance-driven culture.
• Manage budget, costs, and profitability; monitor financial and operational reports.
• Drive revenue, occupancy, and market competitiveness in Mthatha.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and statutory regulations.
• Promote diversity and teamwork across the hotel.
