Phoenix Recruitment seeks an experienced Housekeeping Manager for a premier hotel in Plettenberg Bay. You will lead daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure all guest rooms and public areas meet 4-star standards, while coordinating with Front Office to optimize room readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the housekeeping department.
• Ensure all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas meet 4-star standards.
• Conduct regular room inspections and quality audits.
• Coordinate daily room allocations with the Front Office team.
• Ensure rooms are prepared on time for guest arrivals and departures.
• Recruit, train and supervise housekeeping staff.
• Prepare staff schedules and allocate daily duties.
• Monitor staff performance and productivity.
• Manage inventory and cleaning supplies; monitor stock levels and wastage.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hotel procedures.
• Respond to housekeeping-related guest requests professionally.
