NeoWork is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the client's accounting team in a remote capacity. The role covers full-cycle monthly bookkeeping, including transaction recording, reconciliations, and reviewing balance sheets and P&L statements for discrepancies, using QuickBooks Online as the primary platform.

You will collaborate with the accounting team under the Accounting Manager, adhering to SOPs, maintaining data security, and handling PII with care in a virtual desktop environment.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
• Proven experience in monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and irregularities in balance sheets and P&L statements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM with proper capitalization and punctuation.
• Comfortable working in a remote virtual desktop environment.
• Willingness to follow established SOPs and adapt to new processes.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and responsible handling of PII.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly bookkeeping, from transaction recording through account reconciliations
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Review balance sheets and P&L statements to identify irregularities or inconsistencies
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
• Follow established SOPs and adapt to new processes and workflows
• Communicate accounting issues and discrepancies to the Accounting Manager
• Handle financial and personally identifiable information (PII) responsibly
• Follow basic cybersecurity and data security practices
