A leading independent provider of specialized services is seeking a Plant General Manager in Lincoln, NE. This role requires exceptional leadership and operational oversight to ensure the company's goals are met. Our client is a leading independent provider of specialized processing and technical services supporting food safety in cold-chain supply environments. Serving both human and pet food manufacturers, the company partners with a wide range of producers across North America. With a nationwide footprint of approximately 10 facilities, the company complements its core offerings with a suite of value-added services that enhance quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Reporting to the COO, the Plant General Manager, NE, provides strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the company meets its goals and objectives and the two facilities\' KPIs. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans, managing budgets, leading the facility management team, and fostering cross-functional relationships with stakeholders to drive growth and innovation. Additionally, the Plant GM focuses on delivering exceptional customer service to maintain best-in-class relationships with the Company’s customers.
The role is based in the Lincoln area. A local commute or relocation is required. This role requires an average of 10% travel, with the potential for more initial travel during the onboarding and expansion phase.
Compensation will be market-based and competitive. It will include a base salary, performance-based bonus, and meaningful equity interest.
