Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Zscaler Integration Engineer (Mid) to support enterprise network security operations for a federal government client. The role requires an active clearance or ability to obtain one, and primary work at the client site with approved remote/telework options.

The engineer will design, implement, and operate Zscaler ZIA and ZPA platforms across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, collaborating with network,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in network security engineering or cloud security, with 2–3 years on ZIA/ZPA platforms.
• Experience configuring ZIA security policies: URL filtering, SSL inspection, app control, threat protection.
• Experience supporting ZPA application access configuration: segments, App Connectors, access policies.
• Familiarity with SAML, OIDC, SCIM integrations for IdP and Zscaler.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain clearances.

Responsibilities

• Engineering, implementation, administration, and operational support of ZIA across a distributed federal IT environment.
• Engineering and administration of ZPA private access configurations and App Connector management.
• Manage ZDX, identity provider integrations, and monitoring of platform health and policy enforcement.
• Develop, document, and maintain change requests, runbooks, and procedures for Zscaler platforms.
• Support incident response, threat intelligence, and compliance activities related to Zscaler deployments.
