Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a ZScaler Engineer to lead the development and implementation of security solutions that protect national security. You will analyze complex network/security challenges, deploy Zscaler components (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), and integrate security tools to enrich data and expand capabilities.

The role requires strong knowledge of cryptography, TLS/mTLS, PKI, and federal standards (NIST, FIPS, DoD STIG, FedRAMP).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with network engineering or network security engineering.
• 1+ years of experience deploying Zscaler, including ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX.
• Experience with integration of security tools to provide data enrichment or expand capabilities.
• Knowledge of cryptography protocols and standards, including TLS, mTLS, hashing algorithms, and Public Key Infrastructure.
• Knowledge of federal compliance standards, including NIST 800-53, FIPS, DoD STIG, and FedRAMP.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

• Lead development and implementation of security solutions to protect national security.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex security challenges for customers using knowledge of network and security devices.
• Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls.
• Mentor team members and contribute to ongoing security research and modernization.
