Job summary

Memphis Zoo is looking for a Customer-Facing Guest Services Team Member to warmly welcome guests, answer questions, and help direct visitors to park amenities. You will be responsible for sharing current zoo experiences, monitoring multiple service points, and maintaining safe, orderly operations throughout the grounds.

The role requires flexible hours across weekdays, weekends, and holidays in an outdoor setting with exposure to weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide directions to requested areas.
• Share up-to-date information about zoo experiences and amenities.
• Monitor parking, reception, and building areas and manage traffic flow.
• Provide first aid and coordinate emergency response when needed.
• Document incidents and report to management in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of safety procedures and emergency plans.
