Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II for our Ohio location. The role manages vehicle placement and staging within a defined zone, using dashboards to guide move decisions and ensure efficient, safe operations.

You will help maintain accurate inventory flow, label units for routing, and collaborate with crew leaders. On-site work with potential overtime, requiring a HS diploma and valid license.

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED with 3 years related experience.
• Alternative: any level degree/cert in related discipline.
• 5 years related field experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain placement of vehicles within the defined zone.
• Use Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to guide move decisions.
• Drive safety improvements for vehicle movement in the zone.
• Move and stage vehicles safely to destinations to avoid multiple drop-offs.
• Ensure vehicles can operate and engage service or towing as needed.
• Label vehicles with sale and routing labels to track movements.
• Communicate inventory status to crew leaders and managers.
• Model Cox/Manheim values and uphold company conduct policies.
• Be a visible advocate of safety and health directives.
• Perform other duties as assigned; overtime may be required.
