Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II to manage vehicle placement and movements within assigned zones. The role emphasizes accurate scanning, staging, and inventory control in a fast-paced environment.

Day shift, on-site at a Cox location, with a schedule Monday through Friday after training. The position includes safety responsibilities and opportunities for incentive-based compensation along with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver license with safe driving record.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and handheld device use.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain vehicle placement within assigned zones.
• Use dashboards and direction to prioritize vehicle movement and staging.
• Ensure safe and efficient movement of vehicles throughout the lot.
• Scan and stage vehicles using handheld devices to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Locate and recover misplaced or lost vehicles.
• Communicate priorities and support daily lot activities.
• Assist with sale day operations and lane support.
