Job summary

The Zone Lead will coach team members on visual priorities, manage daily tasks, participate in freight processes, and help maintain a neat, safe, and compliant store environment. Availability nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times. The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
• Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations.

Responsibilities

• The Zone Lead supports all aspects of the visual merchandising processes for the store by planning, with the Assistant Store Manager, and leading transitions, reinventions, product changes, and resets while maintaining visual integrity and a neat, organized environment.
• Leads planning and execution of daily/weekly workload to meet visual merchandising, department, and store sales goals, guest engagement, etc.
• Participates in freight processes for incoming freight and transitions; stocks and maintains end caps and zones.
• Supports store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention; participates in regular meetings/huddles.
• Serves as a role model and coach in visual merchandising, providing continuous learning to the team.
• Uses daily interactions to teach visual priorities and create visual moments that support the customer experience.
• Monitors store scorecard data (sales, expenses) and acts within zones to improve metrics.
• Maintains neat, clean, organized zones with up-to-date signing and sets.
• Performs other duties as assigned; open availability for nights and weekends.
