Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Zone Lead to oversee visual merchandising within designated zones, ensuring standards, signage, and displays drive sales and guest engagement. You will lead transitions, layout changes, and in-store marketing elements with a strong emphasis on safety.

The role requires lifting, moving merchandise, coordinating with the Assistant Store Manager, and maintaining a high-energy store environment that encourages a first look/flash finds experience for guests.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/Equivalent.
• Background Check will be completed.
• Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal, written, and comprehension skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and team lift 100 lbs. as well as to move merchandise around the warehouse-format store routinely.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to bend, climb, and reach at times. The ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail, e.g., standards, processes, marketing, etc.
• Reliable and trustworthy role model for ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for the team member, the customer, and the company in all situations.

Responsibilities

• The ZL supports all aspects of the visual merchandising processes for the store by planning and leading transitions, reinventions, product changes, and resets while maintaining visual integrity and a neat environment.
• Plans/executing daily/weekly workload and assigned tasks to deliver on visual merchandising, department and store sales goals, guest engagement, etc.
• Participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and transitions.
• Processes freight sorts and stocks product in designated areas including down stocking and end cap maintenance.
• Supports store team in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention; participates in regular meetings with team members.
• Serves as a role model and coach in visual merchandising and provides learning opportunities to all.
• Leverages daily interactions to teach/train visual priorities and creation of visual moments that support customer experience.
• Reviews store financial data and acts within assigned zones to improve metrics.
• Maintains neat, clean, organized zones up to date with signing and sets.
• Other duties as needed.
