World Wide Technology, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to support zero‑trust focused DoD cybersecurity platforms in a strictly on‑site Washington, DC environment.

The role emphasizes platform operations, automation, threat intelligence integration, and DoD ZT compliance. Responsibilities include designing secure networks, configuring routers/switches/firewalls, performing upgrades, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with security, systems, and application teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
• CCNP certification preferred.
• Experience with network security technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with log forwarding and enterprise SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, implementation, and maintenance of a highly distributed network built on zero-trust principles.
• Help design and implement SD-WAN across multiple sites at global scale.
• Configure, install, and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and related software.
• Plan, execute, and document network upgrades and optimizations.
• Maintain protocol compatibility standards and network documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
