Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Illumio Zero Trust Platform Engineer to lead design, deployment, and optimization of Illumio Core and Edge across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments.

You will develop workflows, runbooks, dashboards, and segmentation models; integrate Illumio with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, and automation pipelines; collaborate with security architects on Zero Trust strategies and playbooks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or infrastructure engineering.
• 3+ years Linux/Windows, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 2+ years in regulated mission-critical environments (finance/healthcare/federal/energy).
• 1+ years with infrastructure automation tools.
• 1+ years REST APIs and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, configuration, and optimization of Illumio Core and Illumio Edge across on-prem, virtualized, and cloud environments.
• Develop workflows, runbooks, dashboards, and segmentation models for enterprise workloads and critical applications.
• Integrate Illumio with SIEM, SOAR, CMDB, and automation pipelines.
• Analyze traffic with VEN telemetry and build policy recommendations to reduce attack surface.
• Troubleshoot performance, VEN installation issues, and policy conflicts across distributed infra.
• Collaborate with application owners to onboard workloads and validate segmentation plans.
