Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a skilled Illumio Systems Engineer to design and implement secure, segmented networks in DoD environments. You will apply Illumio Core/Endpoint expertise, Zero Trust, and micro-segmentation to protect mission-critical applications.

Leverage cloud and hybrid IT experience to shape secure architectures, configure network devices, and collaborate across teams while maintaining compliance and readiness for security clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production experience with Illumio Core or Illumio Endpoint
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and micro segmentation strategies
• Experience with cloud environments and hybrid IT infrastructures
• Experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls with layer 3 and 4 security policies
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and ACLs
• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider or IAT Level II certs within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and deploy network security policy to increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical networked applications
• Support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries
• Leverage network design, OSI model, and TCP/IP knowledge to ensure secure, interoperable environments
