Job summary

manpowe is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in Windom, MN to lead site EHS programs and drive a zero-harm culture. You will partner with site leadership to promote safety and environmental excellence and standardize the Safety Management System region-wide.

The role requires 3+ years of safety program leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage regulatory programs across manufacturing operations, with relocation support offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• 3+ years leading and building comprehensive safety programs with evidence of continuous improvement.
• Applicable EHS certificate preferred (i.e., CSP, CIH, OHST) and the ability to obtain professional certification within 3 years after starting in the EHS Manager role.
• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, with the ability to facilitate training and drive performance.
• Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop, and execute EHS projects in a manufacturing environment, including incident prevention and investigation support.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership to promote safety, health, and environmental excellence every day.
• Implement and standardize the Safety Management System across the region.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate EHS requirements.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and injury elimination efforts to support a zero-harm culture.
• Oversee regulatory programs (e.g., machine guarding, PPE, and environmental compliance) and drive continuous improvement through audits, metrics, and corrective action closure.
