Job summary

FrieslandCampina seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety, health, and environmental programs in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will drive compliance, reduce operational risk, and foster a zero-harm culture while aligning with cGMP, HACCP/FSMA, OSHA, and EPA standards. This role partners across functions to advance continuous improvement and operational excellence at the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of management experience (or 2+ years with a Master’s degree).
• Strong knowledge of food safety and GMP environments.
• Demonstrated experience in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Hands-on problem solver with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Champion a zero-harm safety culture aligned with cGMP, HACCP/FSMA, OSHA, and EPA requirements.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and performance targets.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Manage site compliance activities including permits, audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and reliability programs.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all safety and environmental standards.
• Advise leadership on regulatory requirements, risks, and strategic priorities.
