Job summary

Meadowbrook Brands Restaurants is seeking friendly Cooks and Cashiers for Zaxby's in Canton, Georgia. As part of your role you will assemble and package menu items, prep food to company standards, use the POS, greet guests, and explain the menu.

In-store training is included, with potential pay increases up to .50 after training completion. You will help keep the restaurant clean and stocked, and assist management by reporting equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 or older to apply for all positions.
• In-store training program included with potential raise after training completion.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Basic customer service skills and friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package menu items to company standards.
• Prep all food items to company standards.
• Hold and store all food items per safety guidelines.
• Keep restaurant stocked to run smooth shifts.
• Suggest additional menu items to guests to increase sales.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Greet guests warmly and explain the menu.
• Inform management when back-of-house equipment or inventory is needed.
• Keep restaurant clean, including kitchen, dining area, and storage.
• Clean and maintain equipment to company standards.

*Zaxby's Cooks and Cashiers: (Must be 16 to apply for all positions)

Essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assemble and package menu items to company standards.
• Responsible for prepping all food items to company standards.
• Responsible for holding and storing all food items to follow food safety guidelines & company standards.
• Regularly keeping restaurant stocked with necessary items to run smooth shifts
• Generates additional sales by suggesting additional menu items to the guest.
• Enter guests orders accurately into the POS system.
• Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guests.
• Explain menu and answer product questions for all guests.
• Informs management when any back-of-house equipment needs service or inventory is needed.
• Responsible for keeping restaurant clean, including kitchen, storage areas, dining room and back of house areas.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment to company standards.
