Responsibilities

• Provide support to the salaried management team
• Directly supervise approximately 40 team members (depending on location) and hold them accountable for specific job duties and overall work performance
• Provide feedback to management team to build team member schedules
• Enforce company standards, policies, code of conduct, and applicable laws
• Manage and follow up on various tasks vital to overall store operation
• Maintain sports bar compliance with beer and liquor licensing, work authorization, wage and hour laws
• Emphasize safety, sanitation, security awareness, and ensure proper training of all team members
• Conduct daily line and equipment checks, maintain cleanliness, pass health department and corporate audits with exceptional ratings, train staff on sanitation guidelines
• Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards for the sports bar
• Prevent cross-contamination, improper food handling and storage practices through training and supervision
• Resolve escalated conflicts or guest complaints, communicate promptly with management
• Adhere to cash handling and payment processing procedures
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports as required
• Optimize store profit by managing labor and cost of goods/inventory
• Provide clear, respectful, constructive feedback to team members
• Use sound judgment to prevent and diffuse potential risk situations
• Increase sales through community involvement, outreach, promote discounts, fundraising, exceed guest expectations
• Take ownership, pride, and responsibility for overall operation and performance
• Additional duties as assigned by leadership

Knowledge and skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Reliable source of transportation required
• ServSafe certification recommended
• Proficient understanding of food allergens
• Ability to obtain Food Handler Card
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, heat and A/C units, walk‑in freezers
• Flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated to achieve superior results, self‑starter, strong attention to detail, organization, multi‑tasking
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary company and member information
• Maintain professional demeanor under pressure
• Personable, friendly personality, ability to communicate with guests

• Basic math knowledge and currency calculations
• Strong interpersonal skills, work independently and with others

• Computer proficiency – Windows programs, calculator, copy machines, printers, cash drawers, POS touchscreens, cooking equipment
• Lift 10–50 lbs, lift overhead frequently
• Work at fast pace, high intensity while standing for extended periods
