Job summary

Google is seeking a YouTube Social Strategist, Marketing to own and optimize the flagship YouTube channel and its 45M+ subscriber community. You will lead day-to-day channel optimization, audience development, and data-driven programming strategy across the platform.

You will dissect retention curves, browse and suggested traffic patterns, click-through rates, and returning-viewer cohorts to unlock organic momentum and drive programming decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in social media marketing.
• Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.
• Experience developing and executing social media strategies.
• Experience with video hosting, live streaming or social media platforms.
• Experience with YouTube, Search, or Video Advertising.

Responsibilities

• Own daily YouTube Studio channel management and optimization for YouTube on the YouTube platform, running thumbnail test and compare experiments, title pivots, metadata updates, and channel storefront curation.
