Job summary

Queens Community House seeks a School-Based Youth Programs Manager to lead Career Ready, Work, Learn & Grow, and Extended Day programs at B-Tech. You will partner with NYC Public Schools, DYCD, teachers, and employers to deliver engaging, outcome-driven programming for high school students.

The role requires strong leadership, program management, and data oversight, with a focus on equity, safety, and program quality in a dynamic urban setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 3+ years managing youth/workforce programs; supervisory experience is expected.
• Knowledge of DYCD, Career Ready, Work, Learn & Grow (WLG) initiatives is preferred.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership of Career Ready, WLG, and Extended Day programs.
• Ensure compliance with DYCD and NYC Public Schools requirements and QA standards.
• Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff; monitor participant outcomes and records.
• Build partnerships with schools, employers, and community organizations; report on metrics.
