Job summary

Hampton Roads Community Action Program (HRCAP) is seeking a Team Leader to design innovative before- and after-school programming for youth in Newport News, VA. You will coordinate weekly activities, align curriculum with funding sources, and generate reports to monitor data quality across multiple databases.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly with staff, students, and families.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred.
• Experience with program eligibility evaluation.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Virginia driver’s license.
• Criminal-record check and fingerprints required; TB screening.
• Ability to network, build relationships and engage with the community.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative before and after school programming for youth.
• Coordinate weekly programming aligned with funding sources.
• Generate reports from client databases and analyze data deficiencies.
• Serve as liaison to advisory committees and community coalitions.
• Develop and maintain community partnerships and conduct outreach.
