Job summary

The Hampton Roads Community Action Program in Newport News seeks a Youth Team Leader to design and oversee innovative before- and after-school programming for youth. You will coordinate weekly activities aligned with the agency's curriculum and manage data reporting from client databases to identify gaps.

The role requires detail orientation, strong organization, and the ability to generate reliable reports. Travel to partner sites and occasional early morning or weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred.
• Experience with program eligibility evaluation.
• Strong data-reporting skills using client databases.

Responsibilities

• Document daily activities and attendance.
• Facilitate weekly youth workshops at schools and satellite sites.
• Conduct monthly meetings with parents to ensure wrap-around services.
• Create and maintain community partnerships and coalitions.
• Complete intake and determine eligibility for enrolled youth.
• Operate a motor vehicle for work activities.
