Job summary

Community Solutions Inc. seeks a part-time Youth Support Specialist (32 hours/week) for the Coventry House program in Coventry, RI. You will provide direct care and supervision to youth residents, create individualized plans with the team, and maintain detailed records of progress and behavior.

Expect safety checks, transports, and coordinating client orientation within the facility. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; four years in social services or criminal justice preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute on a one-for-one basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth residents in a residential setting.
• Develop and implement individualized plans with input from the team.
• Maintain accurate records of resident progress and behavior.
• Conduct safety checks, searches, and reports per shift.
• Transport clients as needed in a company vehicle.
• Facilitate client orientation and movement within the facility.
• Monitor medication self-administration and support clients with daily activities.
