Job summary

Community Solutions is actively seeking a Youth Support Specialist for the Coventry House program in Coventry, RI. This part-time role involves direct care for youth residents in a residential setting and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will develop individualized plans, conduct routine checks, and maintain accurate progress records. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and willingness to work Saturdays and Sundays from 7am to 3pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years experience in the social service or criminal justice field.
• Bachelor degree plus one year experience in the social service or criminal justice field preferred; substitution possible with relevant experience.
• Experience with Youth Population preferred.
• Arrive 15 minutes before shift for shift change; may stay later.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth residents in a residential setting.
• Develop and implement individualized plans for each resident, in collaboration with other team members.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents throughout their stay.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and behavior.
• Ensure residents receive necessary support and resources to reintegrate into their communities.
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks on each shift.
• Complete intake on all new arrivals prior to the end of your shift; facilitate client orientation as assigned.
