Job summary

Community Solutions is seeking a Youth Support Specialist to join the Coventry House program in Coventry, RI. This part-time role (32 hours/week) includes benefits and focuses on helping youth overcome challenges and reintegrate into the community. The position requires a High School Diploma with relevant experience in social services or criminal justice.

A valid driver’s license is also needed. Schedule falls Friday through Monday from 7:00am to 3:00pm, with a starting wage of $19.98 per hour

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years experience in the social service or criminal justice field.
• Bachelor's degree plus one year experience in the social service or criminal justice field preferred. Education may be substituted with relevant experience on a one year for one year basis.
• Experience with Youth Population Preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth residents in a residential setting.
• Develop and implement individualized plans for each resident, in collaboration with other team members.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents throughout their stay.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and behavior.
• Ensure residents receive the necessary support to reintegrate into their communities.
• Conduct employment, job searches and home confinement spot checks on each shift.
