Job summary

Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI) is seeking a part-time Youth Support Specialist (32 hours/week) for the Coventry House program in Coventry, RI. You will provide direct care and develop individualized plans for residents, collaborating with the team to support successful reintegration.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, plus a valid driver’s license. Starting pay is $19.98/hour with shift differentials, Fri-Mon 3:00pm–11:00pm, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with 4 years experience in social services or criminal justice.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; can substitute with relevant experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Experience with youth population preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to youth residents in a residential setting.
• Develop and implement individualized plans with the treatment team.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to residents during their stay.
• Maintain accurate records of resident progress and behavior.
• Ensure residents receive necessary support for community reintegration.
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks on each shift.
• Conduct area and perimeter searches as assigned and document results.
• Complete house counts and document results on schedule.
• Transport clients in a company vehicle as needed.
• Conduct monthly emergency drills.
• Monitor clients' self-administration of medication.
