Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Class D driver's license.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work with staff and supervise students.
• Must successfully complete an interview and standard background and criminal record check.
• Preference given to those with prior youth-related work.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support juveniles and engage families to foster positive choices.
• Write reports and communicate with Youth Corrections Officers.
• Assist youth with transportation and develop parental skills.
• Develop positive relationships with parents and youth and document time spent with them.
• Attend relevant trainings and participate in ongoing professional development.
