Job summary

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., seeks a Substance Abuse Counselor or CADC to provide on-site counseling within a federally supported residential youth program in Greenville, KY. The role supports participants aged 16–24 and aims to prepare them for meaningful employment and independent living.

This temporary, full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with no weekends, on-site in Greenville, KY.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Substance Abuse Counseling certification in Kentucky (CADC) or related licensure.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing substance abuse or behavioral health services to adolescents/young adults.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivering on-site individual and group counseling for students.
• Developing prevention and education programming for alcohol, drugs, and tobacco.
• Engaging with students in residential areas and common spaces.
• Collaborating with program leadership and interdisciplinary staff.
• Supporting healthy coping skills, decision-making and relapse prevention.
• Providing crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed.
• Developing individualized case management plans to improve retention and wellness.
• Maintaining timely clinical documentation.
• Upholding HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
