Job summary

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., seeks a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to provide on-site prevention, education, and counseling in a federally supported residential youth program in Monroe, VA. The program serves young adults aged 16–24 and aims to prepare them for meaningful employment and independent living.

This contract, full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekend

Qualifications

• Must meet Virginia requirements for substance abuse counseling.
• CSAC or LADC or equivalent credential per program requirements.
• Experience with adolescents or young adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site substance abuse prevention and counseling.
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans.
• Deliver group and individual counseling for students.
• Collaborate with residential staff and healthcare providers.
• Maintain confidential clinical documentation.
