Job summary

River Valley Regional YMCA is seeking a Program Coordinator to collaborate with program staff and participants to ensure high-quality youth and adult sports and programs. The role also supports the Director with oversight and overall operations of all assigned programming.

Qualifications

Program coordination and management experience.
Ability to lead teams and supervise activities.
Fundraising and volunteer coordination experience.
Community outreach and relationship-building skills.
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and manages operating plans to promote program growth and connects participants with the YMCA.
Directs and supervises program activities to meet YMCA objectives and expands youth sports programs.
Supports annual fundraising campaigns and volunteer committees/boards and builds community relationships.
Ensures compliance with state/local regulations and safety procedures.
Assists in marketing and distribution of program information and may organize registrations.
Responds to member and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
Compiles program statistics and evaluates participation and effectiveness.
