Job summary

The YMCA of the USA is seeking a Sports Coordinator to develop, organize, and implement high-quality youth sports programs and coordinate birthday parties. You will assist in planning, development, implementation, expansion, and evaluation of youth and adult sport programs, coordinating multiple leagues and coaching teams.

Responsibilities include teaching sports classes, scheduling leagues, and supporting DEIB initiatives while representing the YMCA’s mission.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one-year related experience preferred, including coaching programs.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications.
• Completion of YMCA program certifications, such as Team Leader certification.
• Personal Computer Skills And Experience With Standard Business Software.
• Holds or is willing to apply for 7D License to help with transportation of children to our programs.
