The YMCA is seeking a Sports & Fitness Coordinator under the supervision of the Executive Director to program, manage, and implement a comprehensive portfolio of youth and adult sports leagues, fitness programs, and Summer Sports Camps.

The role includes supervising staff and volunteers, and planning, developing, administering, expanding, and evaluating all sports, fitness, and camp services offered by the organization.

Formación

• Self-motivated and highly organized individual with strong management/leadership ability, particularly in supervision, administration, interpersonal relationships, recruitment and training.
• Expertise in program development, promotion and public relations. The ability to communicate effectively in large group settings is essential.
• Prefer degree in Exercise, Recreation, P.E. or a related field.
• Possess current First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED Training, or the ability to attain within 30 days of hire.
• Required to have experience in organizing, conducting, supervising, and evaluating performance of assigned programs and staff.
• Good verbal and written skills are required.
