Job summary

Army NAF is seeking individuals to support youth recreational programs by applying practical knowledge of activities and equipment. The role involves instructing youth on proper equipment use and ensuring safe, well-maintained facilities and supplies.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible work experience that provided knowledge of equipment and facility maintenance, inventory, ordering and instructing.
• Use of various recreation equipment.
• Good customer relations skills.
• Must be physically able to walk, bend, stoop, stand on a routine basis.
• Lift supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Apply practical knowledge of youth recreational activities and skills with equipment.
• Instruct children/youth on proper use of equipment.
• Identify age-appropriate equipment for procurement and manage inventory.
• Maintain a safety and accident prevention program.
