Job summary

Army NAF is seeking candidates for a maintenance and facilities technician role. The position involves a wide range of trades, repair, and upkeep of athletic facilities and equipment, including ice resurfacers and field vehicles.

Responsibilities include installation and servicing of gym and arena components, as well as cleaning and sanitation of locker rooms and weight rooms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with common hand and power tools, the ability to read drawings and

Qualifications

• Experience performing duties described.
• Basic knowledge of standard techniques in maintenance of buildings and equipment; ability to read and compute simple arithmetic.
• Skilled in use and operation of common hand and power tools and measuring devices in painting/carpentry trades.
• Ability to learn new techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of trades and laboring duties involving maintenance, repair and improvement of facilities and equipment.
• Maintains equipment, including a Zamboni Ice Resurfacer, Ice Edger, Tenant Rider Sweeper/scrubber, Gator Field Vehicle and Golf Carts.
• Sets up, breaks down and maintains goals, nets, bleachers, weight room equipment and audio/visual equipment.
• Makes repairs and alterations to hockey rink boards, seats, bleachers, basketball surfaces in accordance with specifications set by NCAA and the supervisor.
• Cleans, mops, shampoos, polishes, disinfects areas and equipment to include locker rooms, lounges, and weight room.
