Job summary

The Salvation Army Evangeline's House in Tampa is seeking a Part-Time EOC Program Operations Specialist to support temporary shelter operations for youth. You will supervise and engage youths, coordinate meals and activities, and ensure safety and compliance with policies.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, two years of youth experience, and the ability to pass background checks. CPR/First Aid and de-escalation training are preferred; on-call availability is expected,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years' successful experience working with youth.
• 21 years of age.
• Pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Pass a DSHS Background Check.
• CPR/First Aid training.
• De-escalation and restraint training.
• Ability to supervise youth and communicate with professionals.
• On-call availability including some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly staff meetings and trainings.
• Directly supervise youth in care and lead daily activities.
• Communicate program needs and client needs to supervisors.
• Document client’s daily activities and ensure safety.
• Follow posted schedules and HIPAA/WAC guidelines.
• Maintain facility security and assist with meals and chores.
• Accompany youth to school and appointments as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
