Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of successful experience working with youth.
• 21 years of age required.
• Pass a Criminal Background Check required.
• Pass a DSHS Background Check required.
• CPR/First Aid training required.
• De-escalation and restraint training required.
• Able to supervise youth and interact with children.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly staff meetings & trainings.
• Trainings: required readings & reports for one year.
• Directly supervise youth in care.
• Communicate needs to supervisors.
• Lead youths in daily activities including meals, sports, and tutoring.
• Follow schedules and document daily activities.
• Maintain facility security and cleanliness.
• Accompany youth to school and appointments as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
