Job summary

The Village Network in Ravenna, OH is seeking a Behavioral Management Specialist - Residential to provide direct care, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to youth in our residential program. The role emphasizes trauma-informed practice and collaboration with teachers, clinicians, and families.

The position requires a valid Ohio driver's license, 21+ years old, a Diploma/GED (or higher), and 3+ years of behavioral health experience or a related degree.

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of behavioral health experience or a Bachelor's in a Human Services field.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License with insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assists in transportation when not assigned to other needs.
• Provides behavior management and documents behavior modification system.
• Assists with attendance, communication with parents and referring agencies.
• Provides crisis and/or individual counseling and youth groups under supervision.
• Provides psych educational groups; selects curriculum with clinicians.
• Oversees behavioral management of the residential campus and mentors Youth Care Specialists.
