Job summary

The Village Network seeks a Behavioral Management Specialist - Residential to support youth and families in residential settings. You will provide direct care, behavioral support, counseling, and group activities aligned with our mission and trauma-informed practices.

Requirements include a Diploma/GED and 3+ years in behavioral health or a related Bachelor's degree; valid Ohio driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a computer and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assists in transportation needs when not assigned to other program needs.
• Provides behavior management in assigned areas and documents behavior modification systems.
• Assists teacher/staff with daily operations and attendance, and communicates with parents and referring agencies.
• Provides crisis and/or individual counseling and leads groups for youth under supervision.
• Provides psych educational groups for youth and selects curricula with teachers/therapists.
• Performs other duties as required.
