Job summary

The Village Network is seeking a Behavioral Management Specialist III - Residential to provide direct care, supervise staff, and support treatment goals for youth on our Wooster campus. The role requires leadership in implementing behavioral strategies and coordinating with clinical staff.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a human services field or 3+ years’ related experience, and basic proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to work with a diverse population and maintain professional boundaries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Provides behavior management and models appropriate skills and behaviors.
• Leads and mentors level I/II staff and provides supervision.
• Delivers individual and group mental health services per the resident’s service plan.
• Manages crisis situations using de‑escalation techniques and restraints as necessary.
• Supports treatment plans through participation in counseling groups and staff meetings.
• Assists with transportation and engages with client families per service plan.
