Job summary

Lancaster County Economic Development is seeking a part-time Recreation Coordinator to supervise after-school, senior and summer day camps at the Recreation Center. The role involves planning daily activities, supervising staff, maintaining attendance and financial records, and ensuring participant safety.

You will promote programs, coordinate with families, and act as a liaison between the center and the public.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff for after-school, senior, and summer programs.
• Oversees safety and daily care of participants.
• Plans and implements daily activities and events.
• Registers participants using recreation software.
• Maintains attendance, registrations, payments and timecards.
